| Can I start a sentence like this? 1 It is interesting that the poet uses ( and so on) 2 or should I say "It is interesting the fact that the poet ..... And is it possible to say: 3 The poet wants that the readers imagine her beloved 4 or should I say " the poet wants that the readers could imagine her beloved 5 or the poet wants the readers to imagine her beloved 6. or the poet wants the readrers to imagine what her beloved looks like. 7. The cherries represent the woman s mouth which none will have until she decides to give herself. 8. Can I substitute have with enjoy? Please tell me which one is incorrect and why. Bye Rip. |

You can, but I prefer number 1- it's shorter and more to the point And is it possible to say: 3 The poet wants that the readers imagine her beloved No- wants the readers to imagine 7. The cherries represent the woman's mouth which none will have until she decides to give herself. 8. Can I substitute have with enjoy? I'd use enjoy rather than have- you can have a person (have sex), but mouths don't go with have, so enjoy fits with both the mouth and the cherries. |
