Tom Cruise is (famous/ famed) as a great actor.
In that sentence, which is the correct answer? Famous, or famed?
Or both of them?
If both of them are correct, what is the difference in meaning?
Thank you for your help.![]()

Hi mshoya
Here are the ones that work:
Ex: Tom Cruise is famed as a great actor.
Ex: ... is a famed actor.
Ex: ... is a famous actor.
Ex: ... is famed for ...
Ex: ... is famous for ...
Thank you for your help.
You mean both is famous as and is famed as can be used in that sentence, don't you?
