    Default standstill

    Hi

The business is not going well, it's like running to standstill.

--- What does "run to standstill" associate you with? Is it possible to say the same in a different way?

standstill = inactive, cessation of progress,
is running -- headed to that state quickly and steadily

    It's at a standstill

is how this is usually used.

It means that the business is not going forward or backwards in number of sales; no increase or decrease in business.
