    Default "Eat healthy"

    It is starting to bother me more and more that the term "eat healthy" is being used. Example: "I am trying to eat healthy". Since healthy is an adjetive how can this phrase work? Shouldn't the expression be "I like to eat healtily?" Am I wrong in this train of thought?
