noodles
Hello,
I think this sentence is incorrect ('How much noodles can he eat?') because 'noodles' is a countable word.
So, we should say ' how many noodles can he eat?'. Am I correct?
Many thanks

I think noodles cannot be counted, they are measured by platefuls or by tablespoons. Thus, 'how much noodles can he eat?' is correct.
For 'how many' you have to count each noodle, an impractical task.
I am not a teacher of English, just someone who loves the language.

Re: noodles
We would say,"How much of the noodles would you like/can you eat?"

Re: noodles
Hello,
Many thanks for your reply. So, it should be 'How much of the noodles is there?', but not 'How much of the noodles are there?'. Am I right?
But, how about the answers? Should it be 'There are many noodles over there', or, 'There is much noodles over there'?
Thanks

Re: noodles
How much of the noodles is there?
There's more noodles over there/in the pot.
There's more of the noodles if anyone wants them.
There's plenty of the noodles left if anyone wants them.
Anyone for more noodles?

New questions about noodles
Hello,
Many thanks for your reply. So...people just don't say 'There is much noodles over there' or 'There are many noodles over there.', right?
How about 'There is much of the noodles over there'?
Thanks

How much of the noodles is there? is correct.
You asked me about possible answers/replies. Neither of your suggestions was correct. I posted the following correct replies:
There's more noodles over there/in the pot.
There's more of the noodles if anyone wants them.
There's plenty of the noodles left if anyone wants them.

Re: noodles
Sorry, I made the mistake of 'Quote'...so I repeated the question. So, please ignore 井7.The question is 井8.
Thank you for your kind help.

Re: noodles
I have noodles to eat. I have more noodles if you would like some too.
I have a lot of noodles left over.
We cannot say, "I have much noodles."
When we ask the question, we say:
"How much of the noodles is left over?"
