    Default Please correct these sentences

This is to confirm that as from [date] you will no longer be employed by this company. This follows several verbal warnings since you joined the company and written warning on [date]. Also, you were not being present when asked you to come for emergency work during the weekend holidays.

We are sorry that no other course of action is available to us and we hope that you will be able to find alternative employment in the future.

    Correct version:

This is to confirm that as from [date] you will no longer be employed by this company. This follows several verbal warnings since you joined the company and a written warning on [date]. Also, you were not available to come in for emergency work during the weekend holidays.

We are sorry that no other course of action is available to us and we hope that you will be able to find alternative employment in the future.

The original English was pretty good overall. The use of 'present' was unclear. Did you mean not present at work, or not present at home when you called him/her? I'd forgive the poor guy for not coming in on his/her days off though

In that case, the English I chose was correct: "Also, you were not available to come in for emergency work..."
