Usage of front, back, behind

Does "look ahead" mean looking at things in front of you?
Eg: Look ahead while driving.

Can I use any of the following expressions to mean the same?
1. look front
2. look in front
3. look at front

And for looking at things that are beside you, can I use the following expressions?

1. look on your sides
2. look sideways

And for looking at things that are behind you, can I use the following expressions?

1. look behind
2. look back

Are the following sentences correct and mean the same thing?

1) Watch out for the vehicles that are coming in front of you.
2) Watch out for the vehicles that are towards you.
