    Default great or big beauty

Hi, How should I say "she is a great beauty" or a "big beauty", with the meaning "she is really beautiful? If both are possible can you tell me the difference in use or meaning?
    Thanks Rip.

    Dear Rip,
i think it will be better to say " a woman of great beauty". or " she is a beauty". Anyway i would not mind she is a great beauty."big is weird.

She may be a big, great beauty.

Big is used in relation to size/dimension - not good to use with women

OK., Rip, have you heard of Rita McNeal? She is a Scottish singer (as far as I know) and she is BIG...really big....sizewise. We call her jokingly Rita McMeal. As far as I know she hasn't shed any pounds yet.
It's not a flattering description but it's one of a woman big in size. A BIG mama.
