    Default foot

I do not fully understand how to identfy what words are stressed and what words are unstressed.
Would the word "please" be stressed? And how can you tell?
I know that the word "tiger" is first stressed and then unstressed but this is easy to identify because it is two sylibls.
    Can you help me?

    Hi Sweetlyss643

Stress is based on the number of syllables.

    1 syllable: please
    2 syllables: ti'ger <stress>
