What is the difference between these?
"sorry" is generally used when you are APOLLOGIZING for something .Also (especially in Britain) is used for asking to repeat something that you have not heard clearly.
"pardon me" is used to ask someboday to repeat something because you didn't hear it or did not understand it, also used by some people to mean "sorry" when they have accidentally made a rude noise, or said something wrong.
Hi Reemy,
Both definitions seems to have no differences between them.If I am wrong could you please correct me?
Thanks
Amy
