Overnight
Hi all
I want to say I worked three nights until 5 am every day.
Can I use overnight in the sentence? e.g.:
I have worked overnight for three days.
is there a better way to say that?

Re: Overnight
Gdzack, If I were writting the sentence, I would wor it as either “I’ve worked through the night”; or “I worked all night till…”

Thanks poorboy. I would like to say I've worked through three nights, is that OK? Because I want to stress that there is not only one night.

Re: Overnight
Gdzack, try "I've worked through three consecutive nights" (if they were in a row)..or...
"I've worked through the night three times."

What about?
Ex: I've worked until 5 a.m. for the past three nights!

Saying it that way does not stress that it was overnight. It could have been only from 3 a.m. to 5.
I have worked three consecutive overnight shifts from 8:00 p.m to 5:a.m.
I am not a teacher.
