    Default will you please give a suitable idiom for this

    when we ignore someone's sayings and one says that listen from one ear and Exteriorize from the other could some one have an idea what should be an idiom for this kind of situation.

    It's "in one ear and out the other" as in Their advice to her just went in one ear and out the other.
