Fill your spot
I've searched on the internet and couldn't find the meaning of "Fill your spot" what does that mean?

Re: Fill your spot
I've never met it. It sounds like an amalgam of 'fill the bill' and 'hit the spot' - so it would mean - to use another idiom - 'You'll find I'm just what the doctor ordered'.

Thank you BobK. If it is like what you said, I guess it could be an American slang. It appears in the film of "The pursuit of happyness" in the scene when Chris Gardner was after his interview with the guys in the stock brokerage, and the HR head promised him something. Has anyone here watched this film before?

Re: Fill your spot
If if it's in the context of looking for a job, 'your spot' means 'the postion you're trying to fill/recruiting for'. But I haven't seen the film
