    Default Usage of stuck

    She took out a pin from her hair and stuck it in the keyhole and turned it around.

    Can someone please tell me if the above sentence is correct? Is inserted better than stuck here? Is turned it around fine?

    Yes.
    She took out a pin from her hair and stuck it in the keyhole and turned it around.
    She took out a pin from her hair, stuck it in the keyhole and then turned it (around).

    The second version is better.
