By the way, 'appreciation' doesn't fit the context; i.e., you didn't do/accomplish anything. What about, complement; e.g., Many thanks for the complement? That fits.

I'm very weak in using of words in an appropriate manner. Well, I doubt in your last sentence. Is it complement or compliment?

I am so used to using the word complement as a grammatical term that I've forgotten how to spell compliment.
