    Question slang expression

    Hi.
    I'm writing a story about a criminal guy, and my intention is to use he's oral slang. My ideia is to say : " Find a way, how to sell the gold"
    "Find out, where is it possible to shake off the red!"

    Can I use this expression, or is it just wrong?

    What does "shake off the red" mean? This is not a use of slang I'm famliar with.

    I've never heard of gold as being "red". To fence the gold would work.
