Generally there are forms for this. The admission form will ask you the relevant questions, and you just have to fill them out.
If you have to give an account of yourself, you should state what your qualifications and work experiences are, why you want to study that course.

Remember, in english, the I (speaking of yourself) is always capitalized.

For your letter of admission:

-Introduce yourself, name, where you live etc.
-Your education so far
-Why you are applying to this university
-Why you feel that you deserve to attend this university
-Tell them how you will fit in and possibly help to improve university life
-Say something nice about the town/city/university
-Tell them that you appreciate their consideration.


Then post your letter here, and there will be help in getting it polished nicely.
