Hello! Maybe you have heard the Katy Perry's song "I Kissed A Girl", but nevermind it doesn't matter. There are these words she sings:

I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it

Why does she sing "my boyfriend don't mind it"? Why "don't"?

The subject is "boyfriend" and it is 3rd person in the singular.
Should it be "doesn't"?

Could someone explain it to me...

Don't is shorter (one syllable) than doesn't (two syllables), which perfectly matches the rhythm and length of the lines.

It also might say something about the singer's cultural or educational background or the informal nature of the song. Certain dialects commonly use what would be considered improper grammar in formal written or spoken english: "he don't mind", "I ain't mad" The same people who use these phrases for informal spoken english may very well know that they are not standard grammar and would use different language for a formal situation.
