My daughter and I are struggling with 2 unanswered questions from her english homework,
words that have 2 different meanings, i.e.
"a quick form of abstinence" answer; fast.
"in electronicsa conductor leads to questioning closely" 5 letters
"a sum of money used as sports equipment" 4 letters

You're welcome, but in all honesty I doubt my guesses are correct. I pulled them out of thin air. The second one, nets, is definitely wrong. The clue is singular, a sum of money, whereas the answer I provided is plural, nets. And as for the first one, wired, I can't see that being the correct answer. Sorry to have let you down, and hope you'll come back and share the correct answers with us when you find them.
