These sound strange because you're saying; "I'm not sure if know, but if I do, it's because of you". The second one is worse.
The corrected sentences are grammatical, but the usage is questionable.
These sound better (to me):
You are helping me discover what a true relationship is.
It's because of you that I'm learning what a true relationship is.
If I'm finding out what a true relationship means, it's because of you.

You can use "ever" to put an expression like this into the future.
If I ever go to Tahiti, it will mean I've won the lotto.
