Many of our beliefs are held simply as a result of the fact that we happen to have been brought up to them.
Could you please explain if "to bring up to" a phrase? If it is what does it mean?

How you are brought up or raised, describes how your parents instilled certain values and morals in you. What you believe to be right or acceptable and learnt from your parents and later apply to how you live your life is down to your upbringing
