    Cool Weak form??

    Hi,

    The contracted form of will no is won't? What about the weak form? what is it?

    Did you mean to say that the contracted form of will not is won't? Will not has two forms only:

    1. will not
    2. won't


    What does "weak form" mean?

    Hmmm, maybe he means that shall is the ordinary form, traditionally, for the first person (I, we) while for the 2nd and 3rd it's will that's considered normal, and for stronger emphasis these are reversed.... In older books anyhow.

    I shall (ordinary) I will (intense)
    he will (ordinary) he shall (intense)....
