• 'uptown' & 'downtown' Uptown - close to the town/city centre; Downtown - in the periphery of the town/city, the suburbs.
  
• 'troublesome' & 'fussy' Troublesome - gives concern [John is a most troublesome child. He is always crying]; Fussy - over-complicated; over-decorated; choosy [Jan was wearing a really fussy blouse yesterday, with lots of frills and sparkly bits; Peter is a fussy child.
