What is the meaning of "how long will I slide" and "Separate my side" and "its all I ever"?!

and this one :

I heard your voice through a photograph
I thought it up; it brought up the past
Once you know you can never go back
I've got to take it on the otherside

What does "I've got to take it on the otherside" mean?

I'm sure a native speaker will explain the meaning of the lyrics you have trouble understanding.
As a non-native teacher of English, however, I'd just like to point out a mistake you made.
You say 'What's the meaning of....?
or 'What does ..............mean?'
Do not say 'What means......? This is a very common mistake.

No doubt someone more into this kind of drug-culture and depressive music will explain the meanings. It seems to me utterly suicidal in tone and from the history of the group is probably related to the effects of heroin-addiction .

No, they are not common usages.

I do not expect pop lyricists to write comprehensible lyrics, and I am not at all sure that either of these phrases has an exact meaning. Each may have a meaning in the context of the lyric, if one could understand that context.
