marine piracy or nautical piracy or what?
historical empires or historic empires ?
piracy's operation or piracy's process or what?
Just 'piracy' is enough; you also hear 'piracy on the high seas'. 'Piracy' is a process/operation, so again there's no need to qualify it, but could you give an example of ta sentence where you wanted to use this as the context could dictate the use of a certain word.
