6 of 13 questions and answers
Hi, I'd like to answer this questions. I' dlike a native speaker's opinion to tell me if the answers are clear and ok. Suggestions are also wanted, but please let me understand where my mistakes are....Thanks a lot. Rip
6.
Is there a certain idea behind the music on the album?
- some tracks of the album, like Movements, Time To Go Back Home, Secret Passage an M31 are on a balanced way between progressive and jazz/fusion moods; to be more exact, this is was our intention. The main title itself tries to explain the attempt to find something different from CAGE’s* musical past, by the means of “enriched” chords, polyrhythms, bigger spaces and even less structured pieces like The Scream, Bitter Honey and Dreams Like A Broken Glass. So, we experimented some possibilities, looking for possible new directions, but we hope to have given the whole work a sense of unity.
* should I say "different form OUR musical past"???
