Can one say:
a. I have better.
b. I have better than you.
instead of:
c. I have better results/information etc. (depending on the context).
d. I have better restults/information etc. than you.
In the first sentence, you are trying to use better as a noun. It doesn't work. In the second sentence, better is being used as an adjective, but the noun it is supposed to be modifying is missing.Originally Posted by azz
