    Default Usage of 'intrude'

Sorry for intruding into your mailbox

Can some one please tell me if such a usage exists? If yes, what does it mean?

Yes, I think it is possible to say that. It is like "to intrude upon smb.'s privacy".

    Thanks a lot!

If I was sending an email to a lot of people without their permission, would it be OK to use this sentence?

Sorry for intruding into your mailbox. I lost my mobile and just wanted to ask if any of you found it?

    Is the above para fine?
