| We are two Danish girls who are writing an English paper. Is it possible to write "Apartments for rent for a longer period" or should it be "Apartments for rent for a longer period of time"? Hope you can help. Yours sincerely, Trine and Christine |

| I would say, for example: I am renting the apartment for a longer time.(In British English an apartment is a flat.) |
