    Default "Give me a break"

    Hi,

would you please tell me where this expression is used and give me some examples where it is used? I can't understand whether it means that actually give me a break or something like stop.

    thanks.

    2. That is enough, you’re bothering me!;Stop it!

So is this correct if I say.

John: they are planning on building urban areas in Mars.

Jenna: Oh, give me a break.
