fixing a few sentences with "flash"
Dear teachers,
Would you be kind enough to tell me your opinion concerning the following sentences?
1.They flashed a signal to the crew.
2.The driver flashed his lights at us.
3.Then a brilliant idea flashed in my mind.
4.Suddenly a thought flashed through my mind.
5.His eyes flashed with anger.
6.Mr. Koleda flashed an oriental smile at me.
7.He came like a flash.
8.It flashed upon me that it was just the thing.
9.There wasn’t a flash of hope.
10.News was flashed over the country that he was ill.
11.Bring a flash-light, it’s pitch dark there.
12.We were watchig the bird eat the crumbs; then I seezed, and he was gone in a flash.
13.Oppressive weather comes and goes in a flash.
14.Do you need to replace batteries in a Polaroid camera for the flash?
15.He had died in a flash flood on the Little Colorado River.
16.Cricket’s about consistency, not a flash in the pan.
17.Top with breadcrumbs and cheese and flash under hot grill until browned and bubbling.
18.There was a rare flash of hope on an increasingly gloomy horizon.
19.720 Series Falsh cards are loaded with exam writing…

I am curious, Vil, about the number of similar questions you have raised. Is there a general theme?
Just a small point - do be careful with typos and spelling, I know you don't wish to make them.
