Dear teachers.

I wonder if there is any difference between (1) and (2).
1. It is wrong for you to do so.
2. For you to do so is wrong.

They're both fine. The underlined portion is the true, or logic subject. "It" is a dummy subject, added for structural/grammatical reasons. It has no meaning.
