Hello

Dear teacher
most of students in this class passed the examination. Is it fine we don't use (the)befote students?or we should say, most of the students in this class passed the examination.

Is it fine to say all students in this class passed the examination.
yours.

In addition, with "of" use "the":

Most of the students

Without "of", you don''t need "the":

Most students

But there are some exceptions. For example, "all" is short for "all of", so use "the" even if "of" is not there:

All of the students in the class
All the students in the class

The phrase "in the class" makes "students" specific. That's why "the" is required in that context.
