From where, where, from which
I went to the top floor,(from where )(where)(from which)I could have a better view of the river.
Please tell me whether all these 3 ways are acceptable and if so, which would be the least adopted way? I personally would avoid using ‘from which’.

'From where' would be the most used. I think 'from which' would be the least used.

Re: From where, where, from which
This is clearly a non-restrictive relative clause.
Where=from (which)=from (the top floor)
I went to the top floor, where I could have a better view of the river.
"From where" is incorrect.

"where, from which" are both right
also which ................from.

Which would you use in that particular case?

I agree with bhai.
I would use 'where' or 'from where'. But I would phrase it as follows:
I went to the top floor, from where I had a better view of the river.
The three choices mean roughly (leaving out the 'I went there' clause):
I had a better view of the river from the top floor.
I had a better view of the river on the top floor. (The context and common sense rules out the ambiguity of the river being on the top floor).
The top floor is the floor from which I could get the best view of the river.

All three are acceptable. I prefer 'from where'.
You could also use whence = from where.
