understood / understandable
--What are you talking about? Please make yourself understandable.
My question is can we say 'Please make yourself understood.'?

Re: understood / understandable
'Make yourself understood' is not exactly the same. It is not commonly used as an imperative and when we talk about making ourselves understood it refers to all the techniques and strategies we used to convey our message. You could use clear instead.

Thank you. I think I will just avoid using 'understood ' in this case, since it is not common.
