To be swelled
Grocer: Tell your father that his account was swelled.
Is there any verb like to be swelled for accounts?

What do you mean to say by "swelled"?

Do you mean, what he owes? Or what he is able to charge?

The father's charge account

Re: To be swelled
Volcano, I'm sorry, but you're still not being clear.
Do you mean that the amount that the father is allowed to charge has gone up, so he can owe more?
Or do you mean that the amount that the man owes has increased?
For example, if you run a store and let me keep a balance of $100, which I usually keep around $30, but you decide I'm a good customer, so you'll let me owe as much as $200, you have increased the amount that I'm allowed to charge.
On the other hand, if I owe you $30, then I charge another $20, then another $30, the amount I owe has increased.
What do you mean to say?
Please provide as much context as you think is necessary. Your very short answers don't help you get good responses - give the full situation.

I'll hazard a guess.
Tell your father his account is overdrawn.
Tell your father he can no longer purchase goods on credit until he pays what he already owes.
Tell your father we cannot give him any more credit.
Tell you father his credit is no longer good.
Note: Barb is right. These might not be what you intend.

Re: To be swelled
Here you can buy goods from grocer without paying money, and he writes down them on something like notebook. Then, you pay for them month by month (genereally when you get your salary paid)
He didn't pay for the goods he bought for two months, so the grocer doesn't want to sell him anything on credit.

Then my guess was correct, and my suggestions above are appropriate, unless someone wants to add to them.
Your father's account has exceeded its limit.
