Predicate Nominatives and Predicate Adjectives..

Okay, so I need help here, can anyone tell me a bunch of predicate nominatives and predicate adjectives? I have no clue what words would be what. I know what they are separately, but I am very unsure on what words are what.

So can anyone help please?

Remember that predicate refers to the part of the sentence including the verb and which gives information, if you like, about the subject in the sentence. Both nominative and adjective predicates occur in a sentence where 'linking verbs' are used, the most common one being 'be':

He is my teacher 'teacher' is an example of a predicate nominative. ('Nominative' should tell you that a noun is necessary.)

My teacher is English. 'English' is a predicate adjective.
Another linking verb:
My food smells delicious. 'Delicious' is a predicate adjective.

Other linking verbs: taste, feel, sound, look, appear, become, seem, grow, remain, stay
