What are the rules for word order with 'enough'?

enough + noun :

e.g. enough time , enough money

adjective + enough:

good enough , tall enough, large enough

e.g. In this climate it`s not warm enough to go out without a jumper at night.

can u show me the difference beween "enough" and "adequate", I meant, in which cases we use enough, and how about "adequate"?
