Default Filtering Messages

Hi All,

How about a way of filtering all messages, so that I don't have to wade through messages that are old. Other sites have a means of filtering messages so that you can see the messages left since your last visit.

I also find it frustrating that the 1 day / 1 week / 1 month ... filter is at the bottom of each forum section and that it resets when I change sections. Also once a filter has been applied to a section, it's not possible to simply 'Back page' once a message has been read. It's tiresome to have to keep on filtering messages in this way.

And, it's nice that the 'Invalid session' bug has been removed. But, in the writing of the previous message I was automatically logged out. Seems like the bug hasn't totally been fixed.

Have you tried the New Posts feature (top left corner of the page)

I may be able to do something about this in the future. The suggestion has been noted.

I presume that you keep the option to log you on automatically each visit switched on?

As I do not write the actual forum software, I'm not sure there's much I will be able to do about that. You could bring this up on the phpBB support site.

Thanks Red5 for your answer. Shortly after posting my original message I noticed for the very first time the "My Posts" and "New Posts" selections. Doh!
Works a treat! Thanks.
