Rational of study
Would somebody please comments the English?
Regards,
Dean
In (name of a country), interaction between doctors and pharmaceutical industry has attracted considerable research attention. Doctors’ interaction with pharmaceutical companies may provide benefits for therapeutics, education and research. However, this interaction might interfere with doctors’ independent professional judgment. Evidence shows that frequent contact with the industry may lead doctors to prescribe more often and prescribing less appropriately.
Considering potential conflict in this interaction, in 1994, The Royal College of Physicians published it first guidelines for ethical relationships between physicians and industry. However, studies conducted after the publication reveal a high level of engagement between doctors and pharmaceutical industry and the effectiveness of the guideline in preventing conflict of interest is unsure. In 2005, X surveyed 29 medical institutions to clarify the extent and nature of relationships between the pharmaceutical industry and (name of a country) medical organizations. They reported that, 17 of these organizations (59%) had received support from one or more pharmaceutical company in the past financial year in term of support for annual conferences, support for continuing medical education, research, travel and library purchases. In another suryey, M reported that 6.7% of doctors delayed research publication and 5.1% of doctors failed to publish negative findings due to commercial reasons.

Re: Rational of study
pharmaceutical industry- the (repeated)
prescribing less- and to prescribe
potential conflict-a/the or plural?
industry- the
conflict of interest- again, it needs an article or a plural. I'd use the plural as you suggest two conflicts in the first paragraph
the guideline- plural
(name of a country)- adjective form
