How To Write A Report? - Need Help!

Could anybody explain me how to write a REPORT on smth...
as a project for example? What are the main points that should be mentioned in there and so on...

In a report you should write:

Title
Report on...

Introduction
The aim of this report is...

Findings(main part)
My findings show that....

Recommendation(s)
I would like to recommend you...

Conclusion
To conclude/In conclusion.....

Please make sure that you write title,Introduction,findings,recommendation,and conclusion out as subtitles!
Furthermore, make paragraphs when you are going to speak about a new theme!!! let one whole line out so that it is clearer
One thing more you shoul know: A report has to be formal and in a report you "describe" something that is already there (past), whereas a proposal is something which you write for the future. So don't mix that up!!

Could you else explain what could in principle be in recommendations?
I did a literature project and I have no idea, what could be recommended?
Another one point - am I supposed to tell what do FINDINGS SHOW or to tell WHAT ARE these findings? Does it matter at all?

Is this a report on something in business or research, or a report on a book?
