Default blown off

i like to know the meaning of "Blown off" in this sentence.
"If you were Fernando Alonso, however, it was a day of disaster. Blown off by Hamilton, he slipped way back after his first pit stop, had several off-course excursions".

i was reading arround, and i know some of the meanings (ignore, Not keep an appointment) but it doesnt match with the meaning of the main sentence.

thks in advance

Daniel
