    It sounds a bit strange to have both his name and his number- we'd normally replace the one featured in the question to focus on the answer.
    So how would you phrase the question? <still a bit confused>

    =======================================

    How about:

    Q: Which president was Bill Clinton, dude?
    A: The 42nd, snuggled in between the two Bushes. :wink:

    Q: Which turn/ presidency was Bill Clinton's?
    A: 42th

    Q: Which president was the 42th presidency?
    A: Bill Clinton

    The first one is okay (altho I wouldn't use turn), but for the second one it would be better to say: "Who served as the 42d President?"

    Hi,

    I am new member of this forum.

    Please correct me if I am wrong. I think the question should be

    What is the position of Bill Clinton in the sequence of Presidents of America?

    Thanks,
