A: Women do more work around the house than men.
B: Perhaps your proposition is right. But you'd need to define your parameters.
A: OK. By 'work', I mean unpaid chores, such as washing up, cleaning the toilet .... By men and women, I'm referring to a couple living together. I don't mean a man with a live-in maid, in which the maid would obviously do most of the chores. By "around the house", I mean both inside and outside. I'll exclude such chores as doing the shopping and driving the kids to soccer training ...

Yes, I really didn't. I've never heard the word "parameters" used this way. I do understand now though. Thank you!
