can anybody tell me the difference between "in" & "within" ?

'Within' normally implies a limit of restriction of some sort.

Within two years- sounds a bit stronger as a deadline. Also, 'in two years' can mean starting at the end of the two-year period.

within means inside the limits smth. (it is used mainly with time)

For example:
I must finish my work within 5 days. (It means not late than five days, the the fifth day is a limit.)


But whan we use in with time we usually mean the future.

For example:
I'm leaving for England in 2 days. (It means,I'll go to England 2 days later. )
