Default TEFL applications

I'm having a hard time with the english part of the applications. Are there any suggested readings to help my grammar skills? This sounds like an exciting way to travel the world, but this application process is a little worrisome as I can hardly explain half of the awnsers.

I think Michael Swan's Practical English Usage is a good starter.

What about having a lot exercises from the book of Betty Schrampfer Azar's FUNDAMENTALS OF ENGLISH GRAMMAR.
