IMO, both questions are proper and equally correct. The word "can" usually asks about possibilities, whereas, the word "do" usually asks about a specific protocol. That said, both of these questions are functionally equivalent -- they will provoke the same response in this case.

I'd use 'can' if I were less sure that I had the automatic right, so I'd be more likely to use it in an enquiry prior to enrollment.
