Different ways to read the date

This is my observation of how (some) native speakers of English read the date. 8)

June 30, 2004:

June thirty, two thousand four (American English)
The thirtieth of June, two thousand and four (British English)

Comment.

In British English, we do generally say it that way, but we write it in full or just say '30th June'.;-)
