Am I right in thinking that, generally speaking, AE says "on weekends", and BE uses "at weekends"?
Before I came to China, I always said "at weekends" or "at the weekend"; but here, everyone says "on the weekend" - it's making me paranoid! :?

In BE we say 'at the weekend'.
I've also heard Americans say 'I'll see you Tuesday'. In BE we'd say 'I'll see you on Tuesday'. Do you agree Shane?
We mostly say 'at the weekend'. I think 'See you Tuesday' is being adopted by many here, though.![]()
