Wall and Table??!

I knew that the writings on the wall called (Graffiti), and since I've seen many writings on tables here in the university, I looked for a word that indicate this doing.but till now I didn't find anything telling about it. Does the writing on the wall and the writing on the table have the very same word or the word graffiti never match with the table's writing? Just wanna know the difference, if there is one.
